Humanaging® as a business was established to help managers to understand how they can best bring to life the ‘Humanism’ of their role as a manager, by treating people with dignity and respect whilst managing their staff to their highest potential, all the while contributing to a workplace that celebrates and rewards the human spirit and applauds collective success organisationally.
Dignity and respect is the cornerstone to good management practices that support equity and acknowledges diversity of staff, enabling such an organisation to build a brand and reputation that is revered by others, and often recognised as an employer of choice. At Humanaging® we believe that education and awareness of the impact of mental illness in the workplace and an appreciation of psychological risks factors within workplaces is required fundamental knowledge for today’s contemporary manager.
De Backman-Hoyle is an incredibly inspiring speaker, able to draw the audience in to her story and experience with ease. Her willingness to share her story, her experiences, and to apply these to the context of other people’s lives is amazing.
De spoke to over 120 of our staff, motivating them to consider the importance of families in the lives of our clients. 94% of staff rated De’s presentation highly, and comments included that they wished they had more time to hear from her.
We would engage De again – she made an amazing contribution to our day!
